Background
In 2019, Mr. G came to ADDbaby visibly nervous. He had always worried that his HIV status would affect his child. Despite reading extensive information, he couldn't shake his anxiety.
Challenges
- Fertility concerns as an HIV carrier
- Years of psychological pressure and anxiety
- Doubts about the safety of the technology
Solution
During his first consultation, we explained the Sperm Washing process in simple terms—how sperm is separated, processed, and then used in subsequent reproductive procedures. After hearing this, he visibly relaxed for the first time.
Being particularly concerned about appearance and genetic accuracy, Mr. G hoped for an egg donor who was "truly beautiful." We selected several excellent candidates from our in-house egg bank for him to choose from with confidence. The surrogate mother also put aside her initial concerns after understanding the sperm washing process.
Results
After the embryo was successfully transferred to the surrogate's womb, we kept Mr. G updated on every key development.
Ten months later, he finally held his baby boy. Looking at his child, he simply said:
""I worried for ten years, and you helped me solve it."
This is Mr. G's story, and also the beginning of fulfillment for many others.
